Welcome to the official website of the Ontario Police Officers’ Association. The OPOA was established in 1949. The OPOA represents the police officers, corporals and detectives within the Ontario Police Department. The purpose of the OPOA is to represent its members in employer–employee relations and to safeguard the rights, benefits and privileges of each member.

The OPOA takes pride in supporting our community and youth organizations through charitable donations. We pride ourselves in striving to keep our community safe for its schools, neighborhoods, and businesses. We accomplish this through community engagement and authentic relationships through various partnerships with citizens and community leaders. The OPOA is committed to expanding various forums that strengthen our connection between our members and our community.

Every year the Ontario Police Officers’ Association donates money and time to benefit numerous charities, groups and organizations in the Ontario area.
