I have been a police officer for the Ontario Police Department for approximately 11 years. Prior to applying to Ontario PD, I attended Cal. State San Bernardino, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. I was hired by the City of Ontario and graduated from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Academy, class #177, in 2009.
For the first four years of my career I was assigned to the Patrol Division. I was reassigned to the Community Oriented Problem Solving (COPS) unit in 2013, where I held the position of Transient Liaison Officer and Alcoholic Beverage Control enforcement officer for the City of Ontario. In 2017, I was promoted to Corporal. Following this promotion, I held the position of Public Information Officer, Field Training Officer, and was assigned to the Airport Operation Division. In 2020, I was promoted to Detective and am currently assigned to the Investigation Division.
I have served the OPOA Board of Directors for approximately 7 years. Since being elected to the OPOA Board of Directors, I have held the position of Member at Large, Secretary, Vice President and I am currently serving as the President of the Association.
