My name is Manny Bonilla
I am 34 years old; I am married, and I have 4 kids. In 2006, I was hired on as a police cadet for the City Of Ontario. In 2007, I was recruited by OPD and graduated from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Academy Class 168.
At OPD, I have had several assignments that include Narcotics, FTO, Bike Team and now the Community Engagement Team. I have also been assigned to the OPD Honor Guard since 2009.
In 2020, I joined the OPOA as a member at large. The reason I joined is simple. I want to help our current membership through the changes that are occurring not only in the city level but in a state and national level. I want to see what’s best fit for our membership and make sure that our membership is well spoken for.
I believe that we work for one of the top police agencies in California. With the help from our city officials, OPD administrators and your OPOA board, we can continue to achieve success.
Thank you
Manny Bonilla
